DAY 1 : Bagdogra to Phuentsholing
Your journey begins with a warm meet and greet at Bagdogra airport, followed by a scenic drive to Phuentsholing (approximately 5-6 hours). Enjoy the picturesque views of the Himalayan foothills and the charming town of Phuentsholing. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
DAY 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu
After processing your permit, visit Kharbandi Gumpa/Milerapa Lhakhang, showcasing Bhutan's rich cultural heritage. Drive to Thimphu (approximately 5-6 hours), the capital city of Bhutan, and explore its vibrant markets. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
DAY 3: Thimphu to Dochula, Punakha
Drive to Dochula Pass (3,080m), witnessing breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Visit Punakha Dzong, a stunning fortress built at the confluence of two rivers. Explore the Suspension Bridge and Chimmi Monastery. Return to Thimphu for an overnight stay
DAY 4: Thimphu Sightseeing & Paro
Explore Thimphu's local sights, including SAARC Building, National Library, Handicraft Emporium, and more. Later, head to Paro for an overnight stay, looking forward to the next day's experiences.
DAY 5: Paro Sightseeing
Discover Paro's charm by visiting Nyamey Zam Bridge, Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, and the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery view. Spend the night in Paro, surrounded by the valley's beauty.
DAY 6: Paro to Phuentsholing
Drive back to Phuentsholing (approximately 4-5 hours) and spend the night, reflecting on the wonderful experiences of your trip
DAY 7: Phuentsholing to Bagdogra
Your final day begins with a drive to Bagdogra (approximately 5-6 hours), marking the end of your memorable Bhutan tour.
