Amarnath Yatra
Day 1: Delhi Local Sightseeing
Pick-up from railway station at 8:15 am and transfer to hotel for freshening up and breakfast. After breakfast, we will start our Delhi local sightseeing by visiting Birla Mandir, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Parliament Round, Indira Gandhi Memorial, and Akshardham. Stay overnight in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Kurukshetra to Jammu
Depart from Delhi to Kurukshetra in the morning, approx. 5-6 hours' drive. Arrive in Kurukshetra in the afternoon and visit Brahma Sarovar and Jyotisar, the birthplace of the Bhagavad Gita. Check-in to the hotel in the evening, freshen up, relax, and have dinner. Embark on an overnight journey to Jammu.
Day 3: Arrival in Jammu
Arrive at the hotel in Jammu, freshen up, and then visit the sacred Raghunath Temple and Kali Mata Temple. In the evening, prepare for the Amarnath Yatra journey. Depart at 8:30 pm for the Jammu base camp ground, marking the beginning of your Amarnath Yatra journey.
Day 4:Jammu to Baltal for Amarnath Yatra
Embark on an early morning journey at 2 am from Jammu to Baltal, marking the beginning of your Amarnath Yatra. After an approximate 13-hour drive, reach the Baltal base camp and prepare for the trek ahead. Overnight stay will be in tents or hotels in Baltal.
Day 5:Amarnath Yatra Darshan
Start the day with an early morning trek to the sacred Amarnath Cave, approximately 14 km from Baltal. Attend the holy darshan at the cave and experience the divine presence. In the evening, begin the descent back to Baltal, bringing back memories of a lifetime.
Day 6:Relaxation Day at Baltal Base Camp
Spend the day relaxing and rejuvenating at the Baltal base camp, taking in the serene surroundings and reflecting on the experiences of the Amarnath Yatra
Day 7:Baltal to Katra
Depart from Baltal in the morning and head back to Jammu. From Jammu, travel to Katra, a scenic drive of approximately 2-3 hours. Spend the day resting or exploring the local markets. In the evening, prepare for the Vaishno Devi Yatra, with an optional night trek. Overnight stay will be in Katra.
Day 8:Katra (Vaishno Devi darshan)
Embark on an early morning trek to the revered Vaishno Devi Temple, a challenging yet rewarding 13 km uphill climb. Attend the sacred darshan and seek the blessings of the goddess. Trek back to Katra in the afternoon and spend the evening relaxing at the hotel. Overnight stay will be in Katra.
Day 9:Katra to Amritsar
Depart from Katra in the morning and drive to Amritsar, a journey of approximately 6-7 hours. Arrive in Amritsar in the afternoon and check-in to the hotel. In the evening, visit the iconic Golden Temple to attend the evening prayer and partake in the community meal, Guru ka Langar. Overnight stay will be in Amritsar.
Day 10:Amritsar (Wagah Border)
Spend the morning visiting the historic Jallianwala Bagh and other local attractions. The afternoon is at leisure, allowing you to explore the vibrant local markets. In the evening, attend the iconic Wagah Border ceremony, a symbol of national pride and patriotism. Overnight stay will be in Amritsar.
Day 11:Amritsar to Delhi
Depart from Amritsar in the morning and embark on a drive to Delhi, a journey of approximately 10-11 hours. Arrive in Delhi in the afternoon and spend the evening at leisure, exploring local attractions or browsing through vibrant markets. Overnight stay will be in Delhi.
